• Hydrogenated Soybean Oil: Non-fragrant plant oil from soy that has been hydrogenated so it retains a semi-solid rather than liquid state.
• Butyrospermum Parkii: Also known as the shea tree, its most famous product, shea butter, is a plant lipid used as an emollient in cosmetics. It also provides antioxidant benefits. • Olea Europaea Fruit Oil: Non-fragrant oil that offers emollience and anti-aging properties.
• Hydrogenated Jojoba Oil: Oil extracted from the jojoba plant, processed through controlled hydrogenation resulting in a soft wax. Provides skin-softening and moisturizing properties. Avobenzone must be stabilized in a formula to keep it from breaking down prematurely on skin. • Octocrylene: Primarily a UVB filter, octocrylene is also used to improve UVA protection and help stabilize other UV filters, especially avobenzone. Effective stabilizer for UVA filter avobenzone as well as an approved UVB absorber; Primarily provides UVB protection but kicks in some UVA screening; Globally approved up to a 10% concentration (Canada permits 12%)
